Coleslea Sandy

Sandy is now 16years old and still going strong. She is quite remarkable having had 13 litters of pups and done an enormous amount of hard station work over her lifetime. She has certainly earned her retirement. I would rate Sandy as one of the best "Natural" all rounders I have worked or seen. She could mix it with any "hool em up" in the yard but was an excellent paddock worker as well with an excellent cast. She has always been a favourite with everyone as she has a wonderful nature and Temperament.

She has been a prolific breeder of quality dogs. One son Boanong Buster is probably the best known, at Michael Johnston's "Milburn Kelpie Stud". Buster is a National Kelpie trial winner and has been highly successful in Yard trials. He is the Current Australian Yard Dog Champion, and Southern NSW Yard Dog Champion. He also won the 2004 NSW Yard Dog title as well as many other successes. Sandy's influence is very strong in the Boanong Stud..

• Won the Novice Yard Dog trial Conargo 2000
